Alright, good job C div! Finally won your first match in the zonals eh.( Not sarcastic ) haha.
For the first quarter there was alot of stepping and wrong passes and STEPPING ON THE LINE. Maybe due to nervousness.
You all improved after that and finally won the game (: Although it was a close fight all along but its ok. Do your best in every training and improve slowly. There's still a next year :D
When seniors(us) finish O levels, we MAY come down and help :bbb Hahaha.

Great job in winning Juying sec last tues B div! :D It can increase our chances of going to the 2nd round so lets not give up! Jy in the upcoming match with Dunearn! It MAY be our last match of the year so lets give it our best and persevere on until the last second! :D

Hey, would you girls wanna go for Ngee Ann's FOC(free of charge) camp? Its an outreach adventure camp where you get to explore Ngee Ann. You'll be sleeping in our school's hostel and trust me, its super nice inside. You will get to do low and high elements and also flying fox. And also try asia's first freefall counter weight bungee jumping. Its from dec15 to 18th. It will be awesome if the whole team went bcos I'm part of the committee organising camp. Oh and there's campfire. So could you ask the girls if they're interested and get back to me? Its smth like red camp but this is more fun and you get to stay over. You can ask your friends to go for the camp too ty! :D

Seriously damn disappointed that there are so little people coming for training.
Although i'm in no position to say anything, but the attendance from each training has been decreasing rapidly :/
Although trainings are in the morning and last for 3 hours, we should always try and make it on time. There were only 16people present for TODAY'S training.
We cant do anything about it too.
Anyway, for the next training in december, a coach would be present. A new coach. Intensive training during the december trgs, i hope all of us are able to do well in the next zonals.

Just so you know, our holiday trainings are back to Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Well, except for some days. I'ld really appreciate it if EVERYONE, and i mean EVERYBODY, to come for the training unless you have a valid reason. It's really hard to train without everybody there yeah. How are we gonna work out the combinations and all, if just one, anyone of you aren't present. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU BELONGS TO THE TEAM. Although some of you might not feel included in the team because of different different reasons. I don't know what stirkes me, but we've noticed alot of you guys not coming for trainings. I know all of us wanted to win, but wishing isn't going to get us anywhere. It's the hardwork, the determination and the desire to win which is gonna give us success. Because sometimes it is not how good we are, but how badly we wanted it. So what if we didn't have a coach, even IF we have a coach, the coach aren't going to play FOR us on court. Although i know the importance of it and all, but what can we do? We could only and will work with what we are given and not what we're not given or what we don't have. We can't just skip trainings just because there isn't a coach, because we ARE NOT playing for the coach, we are playing for OURSELVES (if your reason of skipping is this). And for a matter of fact, we should ask not what our teammates can do for us, but what we can do for our teammates. Success is not permanent, the same can be said of failures. And failure are success if we learn from it. & We have to start believing that we can do it. Because if we don't believe in ourselves, nobody else is going to believe in us. Be the best you can be. Give it absolutely everything and if you go down, go down trying. You always miss one hundred % of the shots you don't take, so if we're not going to try, we aren't going to succeed. okay peeps. CAP CAP is here to update the blog. But not at all related to the jersey subject but people who went M.I.A during the holidays, please contact us immediately regarding the money issue. As xinying says, we aint cash withdrawing machines.

I'm here to give character education ! With relation to the match we have yesterday against Woodlands Ring Secondary School. Having a good attitude on court is key to success ! I think that some of us (including me) are abit lower in this aspect, but no worries, we will all work on it together ! Afterall we are a team, and no one can deny that attitude is very important. It directly affects the team, and the results. For this, ii wanted to praise the juniors, because I think they are considered fairly great examples for us to follow.

hey, i'm here to inform you all about the 25 dollars that you guys hafta pay. it's for our training tee (white colour) & our jersey (red).

please note that for every level, someone is in charge of collecting the $25.

the $25 has to be given to the person in charge, latest by wednesday, 4th june.

We've just been back from camp uhs :D
It's fun right, except for the bathroom, the toilet, the insects etcetc.
Sad to say, with all the muscle aches and lack of sleep from the camp,

Netball training resumed. training as per normal ii think.
As of tomorrow, training starts at 7am as usual ...
I'm not sure if there will be any teachers in charge or anyone to give us guidelines on what to do but if there isnt, ii've thought us something for us to do. It will be some light exercise for the B' division as your know, we've got a match on wednesday yeah.
It had been quite some time since we last trained, so after the matches and all, we will resumed to physical training I guess. I hoped ii can gain some cooperation from the team and build more teamwork in this period of time. So please cooperate ! ^^ goodnight peeps.

today's match with pasir ris secondary, miss kom not going with us so its like .. we 're on our own (=
nonetheless, ii think we still did great today, all of us (= good job gals !
although there are some .. unhappiness here and there, but ii think as long as we remain unaffected, we will do great. no matter what they do to us, it doesnt matter. we should continue playing our game, its okay if they are new at umpiring or was full with foul words, as long as we play as a team,
WE WOULD WIN.
and big thanks to the teacher who came along with us, she's very supportive.
also, ii am kinda sorry for the un-organisation today.. ii know some of your didnt play at all. and and, ii stammered a lot during team gatherings. ( L0L ! ) also raising my voice sometimes ( trying to get you all's attention ) if it bothers anyone of you, please inform me okay !

overall, today's game was great, both DEFENCE and ATTACK was good except for some minor mistakes like losing your opponent and stuff like that.

This post is specially dedicated to Coach J and Aqilah.
Coach has been with us since sec1.
He has been strict but also crappy with us.
He uses vulgarities but we dont mind.
He does tough trg with us.
Dog peeing, staircase, laps and more laps and powersets.
But we know, he did all this for our own good.
He wants us to have bigger thighs-.-
He wants us to have good stamina and wants to jump higher.
The only thing we resent is his broken promises.
Nevertheless(?), he's still our coach.
He's the coach that went thru the previous matches with us, scolding the umpires.
He's the coach who allows us to go to his house and ransacked his drawers and mess his CDs.
He's the coach who gives us push-up for a few sentences we said.
He's the coach who always crap with us. And have a coffee with him every trg.
He's the coach who took Aqilah's camera and spammed-shot with retarded photos of his face :x
He's our coach.

Aqilah has been with us since last year.
She has many unfortunate events though, eg. Being raped in the toilet by Farah, Iman, Fadee, Fizah :O (:
She has been the one who went with us with ALL our matches.
We are sorry for disappointing her when we lost our matches.
We are sorry for disappointing her when our team had disunity and she was very pissed off with us.
We are sorry for every bad thing we have done to her.
We are also thankful for her candid photos of us(:

Hello, I've been looking forward to this.
But hopefully, the weather will be good tmr.
It's raining like everyday this week.
So everybody please pray -.-
We'll be meeting at 9.30am at CCK Lot1 Macdonald.

Things To Bring:

1. Wallet [with money & ez-link]
2. Extra clothings [we're expected to be wet]

Routine:

1. Breakfast at Mac.

Though zonals had ended and we didn't enter second round, but it's all in the past already.
We sec4s are stepping down and handing over to the sec3s to take over.
I have faith in the sec3s in leading the team well enough(: There might be conflicts here and there, but there's always a solution to every problem I believe.
School challenge is coming up for the sec3s if I'm not wrong? So yep, work hard and get a title back for this school challenge aites :D Make us proud once agn!

Regarding the previous 2 matches:
forget the losings,
remember your flaws,
improve from there!

I seriously can see improvements from you girls. Keep it up and don't be nervous! Because the word is "trust". Everyone in the team trust one other in catching the ball, passing the ball accurately, shooting in and defending. Thus, don't ever give up or blame yourself if you fail to do so. Like what Xinying had said, "One person's mistake is the team's mistake". Just Learn and improve from there.

And, remember don't cried before/during/after a match. To me, the winning is just a title to show our success. But behind the success is all our hard work and effort. By giving your 100% in court, you will motivate people around you to put in their efforts! So, let's put in our efforts together to show everyone WE ARE UNITY NETBALLERS!

The day we're waiting for is finally here!
Zonals is starting tmr. TOMORROW OKAY!

Okay, you can see I'm definitely very excited plus nervous. But cant help it, yea?
Maybe everyone is feeling the same as me.
For all the past few months of tough trainings, let's show them what we've got on court tmr.
I'm determined that we'll win them if we all have the same mentality. Which is to have confidence no matter what! But not complacent please.

We're there to prove to the school, in fact everyone that we're a team which no one can pull us down. And we're there to win every single day from tmr onwards.

Control our temper and attitude on court is important as well!
Encourage your team mates on court when their morale drop. That will definitely help alot.
We're not going there to win individually. We're there as a team to fight for the medal alright.

And for the C girls, I know it's the first time for you guys. But hey, it's good to gain new experiences(: I believe all my netballers can perform very well tmr :D

And for B girls! We gotta kick asses from now onwards! HOHOH!

NICEEE BLOGSKIN!!! (: YAY!

okay, lets see.
about the sec ones? hmm.
the latest friendly match we had was the one last wednesday, with shuqun sec in their school.
not all sec ones turned up so we mixed with some of the marsling c division gals. (:
& YES, WE THRASHED THEM. (:

and the few recent trainings were not too bad.
but as we didnt go thru' tough trainings for quite some time,
the training on monday(marsiling sec), was a little hell for the sec ones as it was rather tough.
so i guess, we really have to work harder to maintain our stamina. (:

Shaikah is feeling some knee problems already, hope she'll take good care of herself, rest well and get well soon! (: remember, the team needs you.

Kailing, went to japan, so she didnt go for the recent trainings.

It is a pity that we didn't get to play a match with Bedok South today. However, let's look to the bright side! We won't be tired and can give our full energy for the next training!

Please be reminded that there is "training" on this Friday from 8am-11am (latest).
*Please don't be late. Those who were late will be punished.

Although there may be no coaches around, I truly hope that everyone will still put in their 100% effort and seriousness. Remember that just 2 more months to zonals! We must cherish this time in order to get into finals! I believe we can do it. I will do some set-plays during "training".

NETBALL CAMP IS FINALLY OVER!! :D
Really hope that you girls enjoy yourself for the past 3days 2nights.

CREDITS TO MDM NOR WHO'S WILLING TO TAKE CARE OF US DURING THE CAMP.

Though the BBQ was abit screwed up and the second night was _, but we did had fun during the games and our trip to sentosa yea?
But it's a pity that we didn't play our candle game!! It's a tradition for netballers to play during every camp though. so sec3s, please plan for a candle game next year!

I know the camp was not that organised due to the time constraint the seniors were having. My apologise to you girls.
I hope the sec3s will learnt from our mistakes and plan a more crappy camp next year (: I'm sure gonna attend next year's camp for sure!

And to my astonishment, I can find all sorts of patterns in my team.
Like shaikah and Ika, who're singing cheh cheh goleh like everyday.
Grace who can laugh and jump about like a monkey without feeling tired!
Cheryl for being so funny with the way she talks!
Wangyue who's being sucha blur queen =.=

One thing to be mentioned. I find it dissapointing to have the team split up in sentosa. WE should have play together as a team to create a stronger bond within us. Instead of separating into different cliques.

Regarding about the match against RP, well done B girls (:
We must have learnt alot from this game, and esp from the coach!

Like what coach joseph said, take this match as a learning process. we learn from our mistakes and start improving!

There will be training as usual during this friday morning. (30th nov)
Training might end earlier like previous trainings. so you guys may go home and change. come back to school and report for the camp!
Or you can choose to stay back all the way till 4.30 PM.

I know the CCA lders have not been attending trainings for 2days this week due to camp. we're stop from going for training unless there's competition going on. We left no choice and had to go ahead with Mr KC's decision.
But nevertheless, I have to praise the other girls for attending the trainings. cause' I felt kinda guilty for seeing you guys training so hard, yet I'm slacking my arses off, cheering my lungs out-.-

Zonals are not that far away. We still had quite a long way to go before we reach our goals. Be it whether it's B girls or C girls, no matter how tough the training is gonna be, as long as you've the right mindset, nothing can pulls you down.
Everyone knows coach's character. Nothing can ever stop him from giving us support till we had reach our target. Let's not dissappoint the teachers and coach joseph alright!

And the list of the girls in main 12 will be out soon? but what I want to emphasize is that - dont get discouraged if you're not in main 12. we're still one big family, a team. we've grow so much together, and we need each other's support in order to get there k.
and for the main 12, please keep on trying to improve on yourself during each trainings. we cant afford to waste our time (:

I read November Teenage and came across one interesting and inspiring page of NETBALL! I shall quote some phrases from it and share it with you girls.

Netball is a game that isn't just about natural talent, it's also about skills, techniques, maturity and mental strengths. It's not easy playing a game that literally requires you to think on your feet because you only have three seconds to think where and who you can pass the ball to. It also takes a lot of discipline...

...The most generic skill one should have is the ability to catch and pass. If you're a shooter, your percentages have to be high. You also need to able to shoot under pressure. If you play centre (C) or wing attack (WA), you'll need to have good spatial ability, scanning the court quickly for spaces to pass the ball. As for defenders, it's important to be very fit and "sticky". It helps too, if you're slightly taller or have the ability to jump high.

Most parts are true. So everyone, let's work our butts off this coming 3 months. Make our passes perfect, reduce the number of drop balls, communicate and encouraging one another! Rmb, we left less than 3 months to train. Let's treasure every training and do some fitness yourself. But don't do it just for the sake of doing but for the sake that you want to improve yourself and contribute to the team. Jia you and take care!

Extra training for B girls will start from next week.
It will be in the morning, 7.45am - 11.15am. (may end earlier or later)
Dates will be confirmed later.
But it is on either Tuesday or Thursday since we have trainings on other days. (Please tag which day you prefer and/or whether do you want to train before our normal trainings. Also, state whether you want self-trainings on alternate weeks or every weeks during this holidays)
&these are our self trainings so there will be no consent form or newsletter.

DEAREST SEC ONES:

please please please, FOCUS DURING TRAINING!
we should try our best to reduce the amount of drop balls, better still, no drop balls.
i believe we all CAN DO IT. its all about whether you want or not.

Coach cant always be there to tell us what to do.
& he cant always be there to give us the confidence we needed.
NO ONE CAN GIVE US CONFIDENCE EXCEPT OURSELVES.
SO, please, have faith in yourself. cos' no one is thinking that you cannot make it.
If you think you can do it, you can!

I know we all make mistakes during training, but dont get angry or whatever.
we must learn from our mistakes.
Try to accept comments?
I mean, no comments are bad, its only about how you take it.
So yeah, just be focus during trainings.
& talk to yourself? I think talking to yourself can make you understand the situation better, and also, have more confidence in what you're doing. ((:

I believe we can do it. (:
& try to relax a bit for those who're always tensed up.

Remember, its not enough to have only one person working hard, we're a team, so lets just work hard together.

B girls,
still remember what coach told us on friday?
Everyone must play and train hard during training, especially the sec 3s.
I know we have lessons early in the morning and training in the afternoon.
All of us are tired. However, you are not the one suffering alone!
We suffer as one (:
And it is our last year to play for the school already.
Thus, I hope everyone can leave their homeworks till after training.
Don't bring it into your mind. &don't stress too much.
Rmb, it is holiday!
We must learn to study SMART and play HARD!
Just have a good time management, all of us will excel in both (:

For sec 2s,
I can see some of you are training hard and have improve a lot!
Keep up the good effort which you have put in.
For others,
don't be discourage. We still have time!
Try to learn from the mistakes or seek for any seniors help if you need (we are friendly alright? LOL).
During break, relax yourself, talk with us (seniors) and think how can you minimize the mistakes.

Also, remember there is no one man game for netball.
No one can shoot, attack and defend alone.
All this needs teamwork and communication.
Not to forget, persevere too.
The sec 1s are training hard.
We, as seniors should train hard as well so as to set a good example for our juniors.

Still remember last year?
How did we train hard for many hours despite the hot sun?
How did we encourage each other during training?
How much efforts did we put in to prepare for zonals?
How did we make all passes accurate?
How did we learn our basics well?
How did the shooters try to put in the effort to shoot everyday?
(Shooters, if you need any defencers or attackers help, feel free to approach)
How did the defencers defend tight during set plays?
How did the attackers make accurate passes to the shooters just in a few seconds?

I believe we can do ALL this again,
with 101% effort all the time,
with the seriousness in everyone's face,
with the never-say-die mindset,
with the teamwork etc..
So girls, let's do our parts just for this few months.
Try to come for training as many times as you can.
Also, rest and eat well after training.
&for those days without training,
go gym and do some exercises BUT do not over strain your muscles. They need a break too!
For those people that have knee, ankle and other problems,
please take care of yourself and remember to go to gym for some light workouts to keep ourselves fit.

This is what I can do for all of you.
I will try to point out some mistakes and encourage everyone of you to tag the mistakes we had.
But don't be offended. We are just trying to help one another to improve (:
Hope I will see some changes so we will not disappoint our coach and teachers again.

So, let's work hard together and strive for our main goal - TOP4 of WEST ZONE!
